Precautions for eyewash training

Simply installing emergency eyewash equipment is not enough to ensure the safety of workers. It is also important to train workers on the
operation and use of emergency equipment. Studies have shown that it is important to carry out emergency flushing of the eyewash within
the first 10 seconds after an emergency occurs in both eyes.

The sooner the injured person flushes his eyes, the less likely his eyes will be injured. A few seconds are crucial, which can win precious
time for the next medical treatment and reduce the injury of the injured part.

All staff must be reminded that this device is only used in emergencies. Tampering with this device or using it in non-emergency situations
may cause this device to fail to function properly in emergencies. Grasp the handle and push forward to make the liquid spray out

When the liquid is sprayed, place the injured person's left hand next to the left nozzle of the eyewash and the right hand next to the
right nozzle. The injured person should then place the head in the device facing the hand. When the eyes are in fluid flow, open the
eyelid with the thumb and index finger of both hands. Open the eyelids and rinse thoroughly. It is recommended to rinse for no less than
15 minutes. After rinsing, seek medical attention immediately. The safety and supervisory personnel must be notified that the device
has been used.
