Knowledge about Safety Lockout(三)：Tagout Procedures

Lockout/Tagout Procedures:

1. Prepare for shutdown.

ldenty the type of energy (power, macihney..) and poential hahazards,locatethe iscsolattion devices and prepare to turn off theenergy source.

2. Notification

Inform the relerart operators and sprvisors who may be afected by isoling the machine.

3. Shut down

Shut down the machine or equipment.

4. Isolate the machine or equipment

Under necessary conditions, set isolation area for the machine or equipment which need LockoutTagout, such as warning tap,safety fence to isolate.

5. LockoutTagout

Apply LockoutTagou for hazardous power source.

6. Release hazardous energy

Release stocked hazardous energy, such as stocked gas, liquid. (Note: This step can operate before step 5, as per the actualsituation to confirm.)

7. Verify

After LockoutTagout, verify the isolation of the machine or equipment is valid.

Remove Lockout/Tagout Procedures:

1. Check tools, remove isolation facilities;

2. Check staff;

3. Remove LockoutTagout devices;

4. Inform relevantstaf;

 5. Restart equipment energy.
