Ball Valve Lockout

The valves we encounter in our daily work are roughly divided into three types, ball valves, butterfly valves and gate valves. According to
these three different valves, our company has independently developed corresponding ball valve locks, butterfly valve locks, gate valve
locks and universal valve locks.Today, I will focus on ball valve lock.
(BD-8211) This is our most frequently sold ball valve lock. It is made of PP and has excellent fracture and wear resistance. The biggest
feature of this is that it can lock the ball valve in two states, namely locked open and locked closed. The ball valve of 0.25-1” can be
locked in the locked state; the ball valve of 0.25-1.5” can be locked in the locked state; the reason for the difference in the locking
range is the different locking methods. When the ball valve is open and the handle of the ball valve is parallel to the pipeline, we need
to use this position of the blocking arm to clamp the pipeline and use this part to clamp the valve handle, so as to fix the valve and
adjust the appropriate position for locking and tagging , so the conditions that limit the size of the valve are the pipe and the valve
handle. In the locked state, the valve handle is in a vertical state with the pipeline, we only need to use the baffle against the
pipeline, and the valve handle can be locked by the two parts, and only the valve handle is limited. So the locking range will be slightly
larger.
These two locks are only suitable for valve locks in the locked state. 8215 is made of ABS and is suitable for 0.25-1 inch valves.
BD-8216 is a heavy steel spray material and is suitable for 1.25-2.5 inch valves. The installation of the two types is similar in use.
Both use the protruding part to hold the pipe, insert the valve handle into the hole, and fix it by tightening the screw and inserting
the key. Then lock out and tag out.
