MARST takes you to understand the self-contained eyewash

The self-contained eyewash, as the name suggests, is an eyewash that can be used independently without being connected to a water source, which can hold flushing liquid by itself. Because it does not need to be connected to a fixed water source, it can be moved arbitrarily according to the needs, so it is widely called a portable eyewash or a movable eyewash.

Then some friends will ask: Is it a self-contained eyewash that is smaller in size and more convenient to carry, the better?

The answer is no. In fact, whether it is the national standard GB/T 38144.1-2019 or the American standard ANSI Z358.1-2014, it is required that after the eyewash is started, the washing fluid should be automatically sprayed within 1s or less, and the continuous use time should not be less than 15min, and the flushing fluid flow rate should be at least 1.5L/min. This means that the effective water output of the eyewash should reach at least 22.5L or more. Due to different processes or the principle of water outlet, the actual eyewash capacity should be greater than this value.
