In daily working environment, there are types of valve lockouts, valve mainly divided to 3 types, ball valve, gate valve and butterfly valve. Therefore, lockout and tagout of valve are classified by the valve types, such as ball valve lockout, gate valve lockout and nutterfly valve lockout.

● Ball Valve Lockout

First, beginning from Ball valve lockout. Due to different screw thread size, ball valve have different size, such as a half inch, one inch and so on. Our company ball valve lockouts are mainly lock the ball valve handle. Because of different brand ball valve with different handle width and thickness, if only offer the ball valve screw thread, we could not suggest the specific model. As a accurate reference, the customer need to offer the handle’s width and thickness. Then, let me show you the using method of ball valve.

BD-8211: which can lock the ball valve on open and closed position. When the ball valve closed, the lock range is from a quarter inch to one and a half inch. When the ball valve on the open position, the lock range is from a quarter inch to one inch.

BD-8215: ABS material, only suitable for locking a quarter inch to one inch ball valve handle in closed position.

BD-8216: which is made of heavy steel, only suitable for locking one and a quarter inch to two and half inch ball valve handle in closed position.

BD-8212 and 8213: are universal ball valve lockout, this 2 types are no limit of the valve size, they will use the stainless steel teeth to fixed the ball valve handle, the arm to block the pipe, then ball valve will be fixed. And using the padlock to finished lock.

● Gate Valve Lockout

Generally, gate valve classified by screw thread size. For matching various gate valve. Our company developed five lockout

We only have this model, BD-8239, it can replace BD-8231 to BD-8233. Because it has three holes, which can adjust the diameter.

● Butterfly Valve Lockout

This is butterfly valve lockout. We use this part to fix the butterfly part, Then use the padlock and tagout to lock.
